7 killed in wall collapse incidents due to heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh

Seven people died in separate incidents of wall collapse following incessant rains in this district of Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours, senior officials said here on Thursday.
In the first incident, four children died in their sleep after the wall of the house collapsed in Chandrapura village of Civil Lines police station area late on Wednesday night. District magistrate Avnish Kumar Rai said the children’s grandmother Chandni Devi (70) and a brother (5) were injured in the incident. The deceased have been identified as Sinku (10), Abhi (8), Sonu (7) and Aarti (5).
SP (City) Kapil Dev Singh said, “In the second incident, Ram Sanehi (65) and his wife Reshma Devi (62) died when the boundary wall of a petrol pump with their hut in Kripalpur village of Ekdil police station area. fell.” Told.
SHO Deepak Kumar said that the third incident took place in Banglan village of Andawa under Chakarnagar police station area where Jabar Singh (35) was buried alive after his house collapsed due to heavy rains.
