The incident took place on January 19 in the Haldibari Animal Corridor. The shocking video was captured in the CCTV cameras installed by the KNP officials.

A video of a leopard attacking a cyclist near Kaziranga National Park in Assam has gone viral. The highly shared footage shows the leopard emerging from the forest and climbing onto a cyclist on NH37 in Kaziranga.

It can be seen in the video that the animal came out of the forest and came straight to the cyclist and pushed him with his bicycle. As the cyclist lost his balance and rolled off the cycle, the leopard went back to the forest.

Seeing the attack, other cyclists and drivers passing by also stopped for some time. Fortunately, hurt by the attack but apparently shaken, the cyclist then turned his bike around and started cycling in the opposite direction. He was looking over his shoulder, fearing the leopard would return.
