Delhi received incessant rain for the second consecutive day on Friday, causing traffic jams, water logging and potholes on several roads. Yellow alert in Delhi, traffic police issued advisory

As the IMD issued a yellow alert warning of moderate rain on Saturday, the Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory to avoid the list of waterlogged areas to prevent traffic jams.

Waterlogging, traffic problem in Gurugram due to intermittent rain
Light to moderate rain in Gurugram led to traffic jams and waterlogging in Gurugram for the second consecutive day. More than 50 areas have been affected by the waterlogging. As the rains refused to stop in Uttar Pradesh, schools in Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri and Etawah were ordered to be closed on Saturday.

“An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred at around 2.30 am on Saturday, 431km SSE of Campbell Bay, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The depth of the earthquake was 75 km below the ground,” the National Center for Seismology said.
