Wrestlers protest Latest News: Union Sports Ministry has taken strict action against Wrestling Federation of India chief Briya Bhushan Sharan Singh. After meeting the protesting wrestlers, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur asked the VFI chief to resign.

According to sources, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been asked to resign within 24 hours due to allegations of sexual harassment. Earlier, Babita Phogat also went to meet the players on behalf of the government and also said that the government is fully with the players and will do what they want.
On Thursday, the players went to the Ministry of Sports during the demonstration and presented their demands there. The players said after the meeting that they only received assurances from there. However, after that Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that this is very serious and gave time to meet the players. The players reached Anurag Thakur’s house around 10 pm. After the meeting, the sports minister asked Brij Bhushan Singh to resign within 24 hours.
Top wrestlers in the country, including wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, have accused Indian Wrestling Federation President and Member of Parliament Briya Bhushan Sharan Singh of sexual harassment and mental harassment.
